Best November Ever for GMC Acadia

DETROIT – GMC’s November U.S. retail sales were up 25 percent year over year, making it the best November since 2004. Total sales were up 20 percent as the brand continues to track toward its best retail sales year since 2007.
Refreshed for 2013, the Acadia midsize crossover led the sales charge. Retail sales were up 109 percent year-over-year, making it the Acadia’s best November ever. With its flexible, family-oriented interior configurations that include seating for up to eight, along with its available advanced safety technologies, the Acadia is an ideal vehicle for holiday travel.
“We’re seeing a lot of conquest with new Acadia buyers trading in minivans from Toyota and Honda,” said Woody Woodring, president of Woody GMC in Naperville, Ill. “Customers are telling us they love the styling, quality and technology, including the hands-free IntelliLink features.”
The GMC Sierra had its best November since 2006. Sales of the all-new 2014 Sierra full-size truck are continuing to increase, with 9,025 retail deliveries.
