AUSTIN, Texas – Chevrolet will seek to ‘Find New Roads’ at South by Southwest® (SXSW®) as the brand travels for the fourth straight year to the Austin-based convergence of original music, independent films and emerging technologies.
“South by Southwest offers a natural launch pad for Chevrolet’s new brand platform, Find New Roads, as the festival’s culture of creativity and innovation speaks directly to the spirit of ingenuity that we aim to share with our customers,” said Chris Perry, vice president, Global Chevrolet Marketing.
Whether it’s a place to reconnect, relax, hitch a ride or rock-and-roll, Chevrolet will offer resources festival-goers need to make the most out of SXSW.
Chevrolet will bring back festival favorite, “Catch-A-Chevy.” Attendees looking to grab lunch or check out a panel can use the free shuttle service to navigate the busy streets of Austin in a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze Eco or Malibu. For festival-goers looking to get behind the wheel, “Drive-A-Chevy” offers the opportunity to test drive a wide variety of Chevrolet vehicles, including the Camaro, Corvette, Equinox, Sonic, Spark and Volt.
“Chevrolet looks forward to providing another extraordinary experience for South by Southwest attendees, while also drawing inspiration to further enhance our vehicles from the people we meet and technologies we see,” Perry said.
Chevrolet will share other interactive and music offerings prior to and throughout the festival at media.chevrolet.com. Follow Chevrolet’s behind-the-scenes stories, images and videos at facebook.com/chevrolet and via Twitter @Chevrolet and @ChevyLife.
