Theodore M. Solso served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cummins, Inc., a global company that designs, manufactures, distributes, and services diesel and natural gas engines and engine related component products, from 2000 until his retirement in December of 2011.

Mr. Solso is currently a director of Ball Corporation, a supplier of metal packaging for food and beverage, personal care, and household products, and aerospace and other technologies and services for government and commercial customers. Mr. Solso also served as a director of Ashland Inc.(1999-2012).
