GM Cares, our global employee giving program, empowers employees to support causes they care about through volunteerism and charitable donations. Since 2011, employees have contributed more than 1.3 million volunteer hours and more than $16.3 million in direct donations to nonprofits through GM Cares, creating lasting impact in communities around the world.
Funding
General Motors accepts grant applications by invitation throughout the year. We do not accept unsolicited funding requests. Invitations are extended to nonprofit organizations based on alignment with our social impact pillars and funding priorities.
