Bodies retrieved as quake toll tops 12,000
JIANGYOU, China (CNN: May 13, 2008) — The death toll from the massive earthquake in central China exceeded 12,000 Tuesday, as rescue workers frantically tried to pull victims from the rubble and clear roads of debris so more relief can be delivered.
