Each of the following national charitable and disaster-relief agencies have joined with General Motors to help you make a donation within a secured Internet environment to the victims of the disaster you have selected.
How does General Motors match donations from its employees?
- In many cases, GM will match the contributions of GM employees who contribute to relief organizations through these pages.
- The relief agencies track contributions made by donors who use their GM e-mail addresses, or who give their company affiliation as General Motors. The agencies report employee donors to GM, and GM audits the lists against its employee databases.
- To make sure their contributions are counted and matched, GM employees must indicate that they are GM employees and, if possible, provide a company e-mail address.
