In 2001, GM was the first automaker to make its vehicle recycling information easily accessible by posting the manuals to its Web site. To continue this program,

GM now has the 2007 dismantling manuals available online. The End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) manuals provide automotive dismantlers with information on which parts of a vehicle can be recycled.

The new manuals provide details about how to dismantle for recycling the 2007 models of the Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac CTS, Cadillac STS, Cadillac XLR, Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet TrailBlazer, HUMMER H2, HUMMER H3, Opel GT and Saab 9-7x . Other manuals already available online include various 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 , 2005 and 2006 vehicles.
