Croatia - History

From 1991, when Croatia became independent, and up to 1997, Opel was represented by Opel Austria. In 1997 Opel was established as a Representative Office of Opel Marketing Southeast Europe Ltd. and was responsible for Sales and Marketing activities for Opel.

In 2004 the office began to also represent the Chevrolet brand in Croatia and on January 4, 2005 the office was renamed General Motors Southeast Europe Ltd., Representative Office, representing Opel and Chevrolet brand in Croatia.
