In a crash, built-in sensors in your vehicle can automatically send an alert to OnStar. An Advisor is immediately connected into your vehicle to see if you're okay. Even if you're unable to respond, your Advisor will know exactly where you are through advanced GPS technology and can request that emergency help be sent there right away — no matter how remote the location. The crash sensors also provide critical crash details, such as the severity and type of crash, that your Advisor will relay so that emergency responders are better equipped to treat you at the scene.

Roadside Assistance

If you need a tow truck after your collision, OnStar will send one to your exact location. And, Roadside Assistance is there to help at other times, too — like when your car breaks down, you get a flat tire or simply run out of gas.
