Hydrogen: Tomorrow's Energy Source : GM teamed up with Weekly Reader to increase students' awareness of today's energy sources and the benefits of using hydrogen as a source of energy. Designed to supplement the science curriculum, this program targets students in grades 5-8. It is also appropriate for high school students who may wish to study the topics in greater depth.

Keystone Science School: Sustainable Automobiles: Created by the Keystone Center with support from GM, this curriculum module allows students to investigate automobile options to determine the most sustainable transportation for their futures. Through economic, equity, and environmental arenas, students will investigate fuel sources, car design, and community habits. Science, math, technology, language arts, and social science standards are addressed.

No Fossils in This Fuel!: Mix yeast and sugar to create the natural fuel called ethanol. In this activity targeted for grades 6-8, students will watch as yeast breaks down the corn syrup into ethanol and carbon dioxide and causes a balloon to inflate over time.
