This program calls students' attention to the progression of technology and its impact on their lives.

The Earth Day Way: Every Day: Earth Day encourages people around the world to protect the environment and conserve energy resources. This educational kit teaches students about the ways in which human activity impacts the environment and relates to energy. Designed to make environmental science concepts more "real" to students, the activities included with this program can be sent home with students to involve parents in the learning process.

The Smithsonian's America on the Move Exhibit: Tour the GM-sponsored exhibit online, then take your students on a journey through the transportation history of the United States from 1876 to 2000 with curriculum from the Smithsonian. Students will use primary-source materials from the exhibit, participate in student-centered research, and engage in activities that can help you assess student learning and progress.
