GM has the most models with EPA-estimated 30 mpg or higher highway* fuel economy.

Thanks to a committed research program, GM utilizes numerous technologies designed to improve fuel efficiency without sacrificing smoothness or power output. Active Fuel Management, Clean Diesel Technology, and Spark Ignition Direct Injection can all be found on select GM vehicles available today.

GM has over 3 million FlexFuel vehicles on the road today.

E85 ethanol vehicles can run on either gasoline or E85 — a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline — or a combination of both. E85 ethanol fuel is a cleaner-burning, mostly renewable fuel source made from mostly U.S.-grown corn and biomaterial, such as switchgrass and willow.

GM will release an average of one new hybrid model every three months for the next four years.
