Maven is a personal mobility app that provides hassle-free, on-demand vehicle access for travel, work and everyday life. Consumers and businesses can choose from tech-savvy vehicles from GM’s portfolio of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. Members simply select the vehicle and timeframe that fits their specific need: hourly rentals for errands, weekly rentals for freelance work, or month-long reservations. Maven members enjoy all the benefits of car ownership without the hassle, upkeep and cost. All reservations include insurance.2

Members can use Maven three different ways:
Maven Gig allows members to earn money on their own terms by providing a vehicle that can be used to deliver goods or transport people
Maven City offers vehicles with dedicated parking spots for easy city driving, available by the hour, day, week or month with gas included
Maven Home provides on-site car sharing for residential communities

FLEXIBILITY
Maven eliminates the need to pay high insurance premiums and costly rates to park in garages when the street is not an option. Personally-owned vehicles in cities like New York can sit idle 95 percent of the time, and each shared car takes about 15 private cars off the road, helping to alleviate congestion. Residents in big cities who feel trapped in the densely populated urban environment can escape for short trips in a sporty sedan or a luxury SUV.

All Maven vehicles are loaded with technology, including 4G LTE Wi-Fi™, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Maven 24/7 advisor support is available through OnStar® for questions, roadside assistance and emergency response, providing peace of mind for the journey.

OPPORTUNITY
Maven Gig first launched in November 2016 to provide vehicles for rideshare drivers in San Francisco and has since expanded to include package, grocery and food delivery services. The mobile app provides drivers the ability to reserve cars and earn money on their own terms. Unlimited miles and insurance2 are included, and there’s no membership fee after a one-time non-refundable $20 processing fee. Interested drivers can download the Maven app for Apple in the App Store and for Android in the Google Play Store.
Maven Gig now provides vehicles for freelance drivers in major cities across the United States
HopSkipDrive, a ride service for kids, is a new partner, along with existing food and product delivery partners GrubHub, Instacart, and Roadie
Maven City car sharing and Maven Gig are now integrated in a single app

INNOVATION
Maven’s established mobility platform is allowing for more rapid growth and innovation at General Motors. The hundred-year-old company is disrupting itself with the intention of leading in the share of miles driven, whether through traditional vehicle ownership, car sharing or ridesharing.
Maven recently placed Chevrolet Bolt EVs with an EPA-estimated range of 238 miles1 into car-sharing and ridesharing services in California
Maven is helping GM prepare for the future by gaining real-world insights into fleet management, public sector partnerships, mobile transactions, infrastructure development and EV charging patterns
