Crossovers Play Big Role in Buick’s Strong September

Encore retail sales up 38 percent, Enclave has best September in three years

DETROIT – Buick posted its best September retail sales results since 2007 with retail sales up 6 percent and total sales up 12 percent year over year led by the Encore and Enclave crossovers.

Combined, the Encore and Enclave accounted for roughly half of Buick’s sales to individual customers and total sales in September. The Encore has led the small SUV segment in sales for six consecutive months. Retail deliveries were up 38 percent year over year, marking the ninth consecutive month of retail sales gains.
