Cadillac Global Sales Rise in March
Rapid advance in China signals rising brand appeal
DETROIT – Cadillac’s expansion and elevation continued in March with global sales rising 15 percent. The brand delivered 24,740 vehicles worldwide last month.
In China, Cadillac sales increased by 76 percent, fueled by the ATS product line, including the ATS-L. Cadillac is now the No. 4 luxury automotive brand in China, its highest position since beginning sales there in 2007.
In the U.S., Cadillac continues to have an average transaction price of over $52,000, its highest for the first three months of any year. The 2015 Escalade total sales were up 119 percent, year over year, and the vehicle has increased its segment share to 30 percent.
