The PAL (Personal Audio Link) allows you to play your iPod through your GM vehicle's audio system radio controls. It also lets you charge your iPod while it's plugged in. By mid-2008, many GM vehicles will be PAL compatible.

The PMPC (Portable Music Player Cable) is compatible with any MP3 player, CD player, or other device equipped with an audio output jack, and allows you to listen to your music through your vehicle's speakers. GM vehicles equipped with a PMPC interface have an auxiliary input jack located on the lower right side of the radio faceplate.

Music Device Capability is a factory-installed option exclusive to Cadillac CTS that is designed specifically for the iPod. Play lists appear directly on the car's radio display through conveniently located USB and auxiliary audio jacks.
