Norm de Greve was appointed senior vice president and chief growth officer at General Motors in November 2025.
Prior to this role, de Greve was global chief marketing officer where he led GM’s marketing efforts during a critical period of transformation. As chief growth officer, his focus is on scaling that impact globally.
Before joining GM, de Greve was chief marketing officer at CVS Health from 2015-2023. De Greve worked at digital marketing firm Digitas in a variety of positions from 2001-2014, including serving as president of the Boston and Detroit offices, where he spent multiple years working to advance digital marketing for GM. He spent the first decade of his career in investment management and management consulting.
De Greve is global chairman of the Marketing + Media Alliance (MMA), a global consortium of leading marketing, media, and martech companies focused on advancing marketing’s impact. He has been recognized by Fast Company as one of the Most Creative People in Business, by Business Insider as one of the Most Innovative CMOs in the World, and has also earned an Emmy Award.
De Greve graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ithaca College and an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
