Investing ourselves
GM Cares, our global employee giving program, supports our employees’ passion to give their time and dollars through volunteerism and monetary donations to hundreds of nonprofits. Since the program’s inception in 2011, employees have lent their hands and hearts to volunteer more than 1 million hours in 28 different countries. In the last five years alone, employees have donated more than $31 million dollars to hundreds of causes important to them.
Funding
General Motors accepts grant applications by invitation throughout the year. We do not accept unsolicited funding requests. Invitations are extended to nonprofit organizations based on alignment with our social impact pillars and funding priorities.
