The OnStar Guardian app is part of GM’s commitment to focus on opportunities outside the GM family of vehicles to help make the road—and the world—a safer place. The app allows members and their loved ones to take OnStar’s peace of mind with them anywhere they go, with or without a vehicle.

OnStar Guardian offers Mobile Crash Response13, which uses smartphone sensors to detect crashes and alert an Emergency-Certified OnStar Advisor14, including 24/7 Roadside Assistance15, Emergency Services and Location Status16. You can also share these features with others by adding up to seven people to the My Family section.
